Modern researchers, like podcast hosts, use federal census data to collect information on the men and women who called Fremont County, Wyoming, and the American West their home.

Rediscover the Winds will dive into the our nation’s archives and scour census records from before 1940 to see who did what, where, and how.

Specifically though, March is Women’s History Month and Wyoming is the Equality State. So, this month’s episode is going to highlight some of the impressive women who left their marks on the American West and Fremont County.
